| Bio: | Why, heylo thar. :} My name is Gail, I'm a free-lance artist comic artist and illustrator, and am so good at it that I spend most of my time working in a call-center! I have a degree in animation (BA), but I'm looking seriously into picking up something else at the moment. Preferably something that I hold the least little bit of interest in. I'm very into comics, literature, decent films and history, as well as having a passion for my music; I can't make anything decent myself (not for lack of trying), but I live for heavy metal, industrial and gothic rock. The latter two have a pretty good influence over my tastes - I love all things Victoriana, steampunk and macabre, enjoy reading up on mythology and folklore, and find the human psyche and belief systems fascinating - and I shall admit outright that one of the highlights of my month is Glasgow QMU's Bedlam. I occassionally dabble in painting, though not so much recently, as I now tend to prefer CG work (particularly working in PhotoShop) ... most of my attempts will appear up here, anyway! I'm currently writing and getting ready to illustrate a few different comic projects, which I shall probably go into huge amounts of detail with here when I do start ... woo! I love tea and chocolate, though not necessarily together!
